Spirituality in the modern world plays an important role for many in regards to their personal development, betterment and relations with others and also shapes ones world view and moral compass. In this session the speakers will address the issues around their own spiritual growth and today’s challenges, how it is reflected and practiced in their traditions and the opportunity to learn from and share spiritual practice from the ‘other’.

Muslim Speaker
Dr. Zuleyha Keskin is the Course Director at the Centre for Islamic Studies and Civilisation, Charles Sturt University. She is also a lecturer in Islamic spirituality and contemporary Islamic studies. Zuleyha is a co-founder of ISRA Australia, the Managing Editor of the Australian Journal of Islamic Studies and President of Australian Association of Islamic and Muslim Studies. Moderator
Emre Celik is the Executive Director at Peace Islands New York. He has held positions in numerous non-profits in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Washington DC and New York working on educational and interfaith projects.
